In my bid to take over the world by touching on every kink known to mankind, I thought I’d have a little Furry action in one of the upcoming OHB comics.
I mean, knowing me, I might not. But there’s a 92% chance I’ll stick with the idea, having built this character.
To be honest, I have to admit to being a little partial to the furry thing myself, but as always one goes down one of these internet rabbit holes (excuse the irony of saying ‘rabbit holes’ when talking about furries …. hmm maybe I should get that stupid gag in the comic somewhere …), one generally comes across some pretty hardcore grotesquery mixed in amongst general titilation. So I wouldn’t really count myself as a ‘furry’, though I do see the appeal.
Anyway. I then read a retro book about the
Kzin and was intrigued by the potential – it was borderline erotic, but the book stopped juuuust short of actual furry intercourse (more’s the pity; if anyone has some legit Kzin erotica to recommend I’m all ears). So I spent my frustrations building a cat-like character for the OHB crew to perhaps meet. Don’t worry it fits with the (already established and written to completion) plot rather well so there’s no problem there.
Oh snap I’ve just read that wiki article linked above – check this out: “The Kzinti appeared, along with allusions to slavers and stasis boxes, in ‘The Slaver Weapon’, an episode of Star Trek: The Animated Series” – perfect. Literally. Slaves, stasis boxes, and the Star Trek universe all in a single sentence!!! Amazing, what luck! I had no idea this would segue so neatly! Brill, love it when that happens 🙂
Anyway, the character. See some development test renders below. The gun and retro outfit I chose because I wanted it to have that 1960s Barbarella sort of feel to it. Retro Scifi is always so brilliant, I just love the aesthetic.

It’s a full jacket but I hid the arms to save render time (because that fur is a nightmare to process for the poor computer) and pose complexity. Yes I am a genius, don’t mention it, you’re welcome, no I insist. |
