A few weeks back I asked what a good ‘bad woman’ name is, and had a ton of messages from lots of different people saying ‘Karen’!! Haha, what is it with you people?! Anyway, I have to admit, I knew a girl at primary school called Karen, and for one reason or another I hated her guts, so … and I’m sorry if you’re reading this and you’re actually called Karen, it’s a perfectly lovely name and in no way is bad or represents badness … our baddie is going to be called Karen.
The power of voting! I mean I know it’s not actually an important point in the comics, but it’s nice when feedback turns into actual outcomes, eh? Makes us feel like we’re part of the process. Cos we are 🙂
But seriously – why did everyone say Karen in the first place? Is there some American sitcom (most of my readership is American) with a baddie called Karen or something?! Netflix series? WHAT?!
Comics update so you don’t all die of boredom: I’ve had a little bit of a break – I fit this stuff around my actual life, and as you know I do it for free so it’s not always on the top of the to-do list I’m afraid. Next comic to be out will be the mystery interlinked one-off comic with totally different characters and forms a bridge between different comic series by making silly references to some of the back-stories going on. I know that sounds shit, but it’s actually a pretty good comic I think.
Reckon it’ll be well over a hundred pages, and it’s about 75-80% done, with some definite giggles and sexiness and hard scifi in there too. But yeah as I said – real life comes first so don’t hold your breath. And don’t worry about Lithium – I’ve rendered about 60-75% of that already too, that’s been sort of running in the background, and Lithium #5 is going to be better than Lithiums #1-4. No doubts there. I’m not saying Jack and Charlie have actual sex, it’s just … it’s good. And hella awkward. That’s all I’m saying.
