Having caught myself slightly off-guard by deciding to release the next Lithium comic at the 120-page mark rather than plough on and include the next few scenes (which will take a month or two), I had to then decide on the cover.Part of me wanted to just have Skylar in the freeze tube thing, as mentioned a while back, but proud as I am of those renders, that’s not really what the comic’s about.
So I set up a quick cover shot and hit render and BAM! You know when there’s no need to re-do something, right? That happened. Love it when that happens.
The last OHB comic wasn’t like that, I went through a few iterations and a few subtle pose and lighting changes before I got it, but this one was super straightforward. Appeals to my sense of laziness.
I’ve put a more complete version on Deviantart, but to be honest they might moderate it cos it’s a bit tooooo sexy. Guess we’ll find out
We’re getting there though, only 40 pages to add bubbles on … heck it might even be this week!!!! Reckon next Friday at the latest 🙂
