Ahh, pants. Sometimes comic covers are easy, you just do a render and it’s like YES! THAT’S THE ONE! Then sometimes I just can’t for the life of me figure out what they should be. Or I do a crazy collage like for Telepathic Hentai Tentacle – that cover made sense because it had to sum up the connection of all things, and suit the absurd title. On an unrelated note, here’s a gif of Will Smith which I found extremely pleasing. That doesn’t relate in any way to the upcoming comic so don’t let it bother you.
Aaaanyway, so I don’t know if anyone’s noticed but I’m doing a sequence with the OHB covers where it started off silhouette style:
And then became a progressively clearer cover image as the series went on – hitting its peak in the middle of the series. Now we’re near the end (sorry, but we are – #7 is the penultimate comic of that series), we need to get back towards the silhouette again. This is because the OHB series as a package intends to give a glimpse into the human condition – hence the covers changing. Glimpse; things get clearer for a moment ~ then what we do with that glimpse is up to us.
Not that anyone would even notice – but I mean sometimes we need to just get on and do our thing even if nobody understands or notices what the HELL we are working towards, AMIRITE?!?!?! Right Sindy, right. You do you.
Anyway all this means that this upcoming cover has to work as a mostly-silhouette. Which does make it kinda hard. This is where I’m at so far …
