Playing with Sophie Shitcrack

Okay, as you may know, before I start another comic in a series, I try and improve the characters with any ‘niggles’ that annoyed me in the previous comic. So development of Sophie is going alright after all; here are some development renders:

^ new Sophie on the left. You can’t tell the difference from this angle, so ignore this one.

^ testing expressions – ignore this one too.

^ okay, bit of a height difference. New Sophie is on the left – sorted some issue with the torso and started to improve texture problems.

^ here we go. New Sophie on the right. Boob profile more human-y but only a minor change.

^ new Sophie on the left. Slightly less long torso, still has issue with the shoulder textures though

^ sorted the shoulder texture issue (and the thigh texture issue). Looks like her nipples have darker circles round them though, so need to fix that still. Face morph is better though, it’s what I got Jilly (from Kinfolk) from  – Sophie was the template for Jilly. New Sophie is a tiny bit cuter, I think. It’s a subtle change but it’s there.

Aaanyway, good times 🙂

  1. I noticed you have use a longer torso in a lot of your creations. I personally like that style ,and it sets your work apart from other artist, makes it quite distinctive, Keep up the fantastic work!!!

    1. Thanks Hawke, the longer torso is based on the incredible sculpting work of ‘Blackhearted’, who created a body model for the Victoria 4 3d character which must now be about 20 years old!

Originally I didn’t even notice the long torso, but after years of using it, I have observed/compared body shapes a lot since, and I now think it’s pretty anatomically realistic – human bodies are often like that, and I like that ‘lithe’ form as well!
