Free comic: Kinfolk ~ where day and night, in glory

It’s here! The second of three Kinfolk comics ~ 182 pages of sheer … 1795 -ishness. The innocence is palpable, the joy is bubblin’, the language is all over the place, the lore is strong, and the boobies … ohh, the boobies. Read it, distribute it, translate it into twenty different languages if you like, and let me know what you think 🙂

    1. Ahh, all you need to be as productive as me, is a little neurodiversity in a certain direction, and a workplace that doesn’t understand your job haha! Ahem … I do work as well, I promise …

      1. Gotcha, well thanks for giving away your secrets. My dumbass decided to quit my job and go to school full-time to get an MBA, and I don’t even like business. I’m not your boss so it doesn’t matter if you are doing work. If you can go do no work and still get paid then it sounds like you just got elected to the board of directors.

        1. 😂 nah, Directors still have to write (or ‘produce’ [chatgpt]) reports. I’m that special kinda specialist who has no responsibilities lol.

    1. Hehh, thanks – yeah I wondered about getting into a conversation about splinters, but then I thought … nah leave it, takes some of the joy out of it to be too realistic 🙂

  1. “We grow up a bit, seek deeper things than the facts of angry boys.” Powerful line. Some of us, unfortunately, never stop being “angry boys”.

    1. Thanks, yes I wanted to reference the TV news clip from Lithium #12 – where the newsreader is talking about ‘broken minded children’ – there is something about adolescence (/ a juvenile view on life) which has really taken root in modern cultures we seem to struggle with.

  2. Must be “huge” to have a zipper file! 😳
I’ll get to the comic when I can, I’m in a very terrible spot this working hitch. Internet isn’t fast and is being monitored now 🥺

  3. Lovely story, lovely artwork. An air of serenity and peace throughout — yes, even in the fight scene, which was no contest as right easily defeated wrong. Thanks once more for letting us ride along, Sindy.

  4. Great!!🤗
    Bravo!! Bravo!!
This is another of your amazing comics!!👍
I’m still following you and your best is Lithium!! so beautifully detailed!! supereeer!! what else is great!!
I would like a continuation of all your works!!🤗🤗
Thank you very much from the Czech Republic!!

  5. The blending of light and dark … truly beautiful. But what is this? Not a comic, Actually none of these comics; Kinfolk; Lithium; One Human, Being; etc; are actually comics. I think of them as morality plays presented as graphic novels. Or better yet – as sequential art. It is a bit sad that the world still needs to be taught how to care for each other but I am glad that there are people like you, Sindy, to help us. Thank you.

Ps. Just a thought – what does the future hold for your protagonists – Jilly and Ern – Jack and Charlie – Kal and Anna. What if we could visit them in, say, 25 years ???

  6. Sindy, This is truly great art. You are one of the most interesting people I’ve ever encountered without ever meeting. You have a certain real genius. Thank you for what you do. We appreciate it.

    1. Aww thanks Ray that’s kind of you, and I’m glad its appreciated, we don’t all get that in life (no matter what we do), so it’s a cool privilege.
