I’d been meaning to finish this comic for a few years, it was one of the concepts that just sort of hung around in the first-scene-complete phase. Then when Tira Yugen released the RMFB comic with hints at Kal’s dad John, and John’s twin Daisy, I thought … yep that’ll work. So here it is! A 1983-based mayhem of sunkissed wonderment.
Enjoy it! Read it slowly, there’s lots in there!
… lots of silliness …
… plus it’s … you know. Pretty hot.
… hrrrrnnnkk?!
… also, this is the comic I had to totally rebuild thanks to La Femme (1) being a totally unusably crap 3D model! Nightmare.

… yeah. I’m glad I persevered. It’s a great little comic, this. Well, I think it is anyway – let me know what you think!

Oh yeah. Very nice. Though Mom did not get the attention she needed. Still, another awesome creation amongst many!
Thanks.
Noice! This could EASILY have been drawn out across many chapters, like Tira Yugen’s TRMFB. That said, I definitely enjoyed the plot compression to get to the sexy bits. Yup, fits this horny male to a T.
I had lots of cousins on both sides of the family (15 total), and it was strange how the girls dropped out of our play games right around puberty. It was like they took a different fork in the road that none of us guys saw coming. It took us a while to catch up, but they were way ahead of us by then.
Unfortunately, my puberty arrived paired with undiagnosed depression. Totally fucked me up, both inside and socially. That was in the late ’60s and early ’70s, so I was labeled as a “difficult teenager” and left to my own devices.
By the time I started high school, I just wanted to jump to graduation and skip everything in between. Yet, despite my depression and self-hatred, there were girls who gradually became friends, then totally confused me by hinting they wanted more. I ran away. Fast. Heedless of the hurt I left behind. Lust didn’t hold a candle against my absolute fear of real intimacy.
Though I didn’t start effective therapy until my late-30s, I did slowly develop coping mechanisms along the way. Some were ways to politely distance myself, but others were ways to get a little close, but not too close. By the early ’80s (and my mid-20s) my theme song finally arrived: Adam Ant’s “Desperate but not Serious”. That song always got me out onto the dance floor, no matter how much I’d rather stay in my corner with my beer.
That song (and others!) also made me some friends among the women I danced with. It’s like I was “safe”, but also sorta “flirty safe”. They let me exist in my awkwardness while I existed around them. Some enjoyed pushing me to my limits to see if I’d become “less safe”. Never happened. By that point I had come to cherish our “thing”, and would easily deny all my other urges to keep it.
(Though the hairdresser in our group who insisted on giving me a haircut nearly succeeded when she was rubbing her boobs all over my head and face during the shampoo. I motorboated her, and we both died laughing. Desperate but not Serious, indeed!)
As my mental health improved, so did my relationships. To the point where I was engaged twice! However, I couldn’t survive our living together, as my social battery would too easily be exhausted, and what followed would be its own torture of trial, error and loss, all done through all the love we could both bring to bear. We always parted friends. Best friends. Every time. For years and even decades. I photographed some of their weddings. I was the “Man of Honor” at one! I helped their kids study. I became the “family friend uncle” in the best and truest sense of that phrase.
I became the guy women trusted as their FWB. I am a friend and ally. I can get really close, but not too close. True love that is best with some separation. It took me decades to find this place, and for it to become enough for me.
And I’m really pissed that John got to that place with Daisy in a single comic!
Man, now I want to see what happens with the mom. Another great comic.
